Focus, Focus, Focus from your specialist in small business graphic design

As a small business graphic and web designer something I see a lot of is small business’ that are lost in regard to their position in the market. What is it exactly you do???

I was driving to a meeting during the week and a construction van pulled up beside me. Their logo adorned the side of the van. When I read the tag line under their logo I smiled at how good it was.

The van was belonging to a small construction company, probably dealing one on one with their client, but their tag line read, we love sloping developments. They had obviously found their little niche, and by finding this they have created a point of difference from their competition.

Have a look at who you are and what you are communicating, you may need to sit and think about this. One thing we do at mini design before we start designing for a client is we sit with them and have a strategy session to give them some focus. Once this has been achieved it is far easier to create design that really targets their customers.
