Brand is essential for all business regardless of size

Many small business owners think that they do not need branding because they are small while some think that branding is just incurring more expenses. But the branding a business is like a reputation of someone. You care about your reputation, don’t you?

Branding is about creating impressions and of course, a good one. It should be able to conquer two messages – what is unique about your business and that you are a positive brand as well as business.

Now, the big question is what impression do you want to create?

Determine your USPs (Unique Selling Points)

You have to decide what you want to stand for in the eyes of your customers, who is your target market and how you want to position yourself among your competitors. All these aspects have to be integrated into your business. You need to make sure your values to every aspect of your business clearly and consistently.

What does branding means to your small business?

1. Something that helps people to remember you.

As a business, you want to be the one brand that pops out of a customer’s head when he or she is looking for a product you are selling.

2. Loyal customers are keepers.

Customers who like your brand are loyal customers, thus, create a brand that they will like, but not something that you like. But of course, you have to love your brand in order to convince your customers. What is a loyal customer? It is someone who purchase from you repeatedly, that means profit for you too. It is easier and more cost-effective to communicate to an existing customer than a new one, so keep them well!

3. It’s easier to introduce new products.

When you have an established brand, you do not need to spend so much time on telling people who good your new product is. It is because your brand is already another word for (for example) top quality, value for money or safety. Existing customers will be more likely to trust your well-established brands than others.
